Antique Georgian Solid Gold Cushion Cut Topaz Paste Pendant

$1,095.00
This is an incredible and rare pendant dating to the Georgian period! It was acquired from a lifelong collector of Georgian jewelry in Alaska. This beautiful piece features topaz colored paste gems set in solid gold. There are lovely pear-shaped faceted gems, along with cushion cuts to create contrast in the center an just below the bail. These gems are the prettiest delicate peachy pink color! Overall this piece is stunning and was clearly made by an artisan with a lot of talent and attention to detail!

The chain is 21 in; the dimensions of the pendant are 3.1 cm x 6 cm. The piece features pear cuts and cushion cuts; the stones are beautiful sparkly paste (there are minor abrasions to the glass that can be seen under magnification, but aren't visible with the naked eye). The chain is a newer (Victorian era, pre-1900) addition. The pendant tests for at least 14K gold, but is believed to be around 15k; the chain has not been tested and is unmarked.
