Large Retro Mid Century Modern Sterling Rose Bud Brooch

I'm not certain of the exact origins of this brooch - it looks very similar to some 1950s Mexican pieces I have seen! However, I've also seen very similar Jewel Art brooches, so I'm not sure. Regardless, it is lovely and large. It measures 3.3 cm (at the widest point) x 8.8 cm in length. On the back it is marked "Sterling" in tiny lettering.
